 Transfering from Malpensa Airport, what to do in Milan?

I am transferring from Malpensa Airport and have 10 hours between flights (arriving 7:00, leaving 21:00) I want to see the city by this time. How can I go Milan city center (cheapest)...


 I'm studying abroad for a short program. I'll be in Milan, Verona, Venice & Ferrara-can I get to Rome easily?

Hitchhiking in Italy is relatively safe if you know a bit of Italian and don't act like a complete foreigner....

It is safe to travel cross country in Italy. The best way is by train, as it gets you right into the center of town. Additionally, travel between italian cities are cheap compared to other european countries. Example, a train ticket between florence and rome costs around 15 euros.

Yes it's very safe. Trains are great, inexpensive and fast. You can also drive but I wouldn't recommend it if you're a nervous driver.

DON'T EVER HITCHHIKE IN ITALY!!!!!! no one will ever pick you up anyway and it is illeagal
