Hi! I'm going on a study abroad trip to Italy, and if you haven't guessed it already, I'M EXCITED! I know there are probably a million posts already concerning what to wear there (especially for girls) but I was wondering if anyone could actually provide examples of cute pieces to wear there. (Just describing is fine, or if you have a pic that's good too.) I have no idea what to wear. (I'm going in July and I'm 19yrs. old) And if anyone had any idea of cute walking shoes to wear around, that would be helpful too! Thanks everyone! |

Hi! I am Italian and I live to Rome. I have two daughters, 21 years old and 23 years old. They wear casual clothes, if this is what you want to know. Jeans low of life and top is the must for the summer, short skirts and T-shirt go well too. For the shoes for the summer my daughters prefer wear the sandals of Chinese type. if they don't go to work they wear like This .

When they work (They work in an agency) they use to wear formal clothes and shoes with the heel.

Skinny jeans and fitted shirts. A lot of LaCoste. Just make sure you have at least a few nice outfits for dinner. Other than that, it's the same as in the US. As for sneakers Pumas seemed popular. They have their own brands there. Just make sure you have a lot of comfy walking shoes. Those cobblestone streets are a b(*&^ on the feet in heels. I still don't understand how those women walk around in stilettos. |

i was born in toscana,italia and visit mi familia very often!
i still live by italian style; blacks and browns, jeans and heels!
example: armani jeans wiht black shirt and black maryjanes
example: chic dress ( vitoria beckham is a perfect example of what most italians with style where!)
italia's all about name brands liek d&g, veresace, and armani
