You bet! I visited Milan, Venice, everywhere! It was an incredible experience! The Italians that I had the great pleasure of encountering were incredibly nice and unbelievably generous. (And very patient when I was unable to properly communicate in Italian with them). I have been several places in the world and the magnificent country of Italy is right up there!
Thanks for asking and best wishes if you travel there!

we went this past march and had what was probably our best vacation yet! we rented a car and drove everywhere. we based ourselves in a villa in umbria and went everywhere from there. we explored rome, florence, pompeii, vesuvius, naples, spoleto, deruta, terni, perugia, and a few other tiny villages in between. we wouldnt have done our trip any other way!

Naples_6
We moved to Italy two years ago when my husband got stationed here, and I'm so amazed by this place and it's beauty. I love living here!
I have been to just about all the major cities and tourist sites in Italy. Rome, Pisa, Venice, Milan, Florence. I live in the Naples area, so we are really close to the Amalfi Coast, the island of Capri, Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius. Pompeii is fascinating!
We're still going to be here for a few more years, and I'll visit these places over and over again! I just don't get tired of it.
Sicily is equally as beautiful!

Nope. Born there. Ran away at an early age (6 months old). Lived around the world and attempted to return twice (year abroad at uni & 4 years for work). Both attempts confirmed greatest fear (too anglo-saxon for Italy)

There are not enough words to describe my trip to Italy except to say I will return. It was amazing. i visited Venice, Florence, Messina, Pisa. Rome, Croatia, Cannes France, Barcelona. Next time I think I will rent a villa and stay a while. I loved every minute of it. Wow!.....nothing but sighs.

I was in Italy for five months, living in Florence. The best five months of my life. I visited Venice, Siena, Pisa, Tuscan countryside, Assisi, Perugia, Rome, Vibo Valencia, Tropea and Reggio. All of it was absolutely beautiful. I've made a promise to myself to go back every year. I'm heading back next summer to see more of the south and the Amalfi Coast.
