Distance from Ostia to Rome?

bear in mind that - assuming you are talking about Ostia in Lazio (there is another one near Parma) - you can intend both Ostia Antica or Ostia Lido... they are quite near, but while one is a museum/archeological site the other is a beach area. at any rate it's quite close, about 20 km (roughly 13 miles) and you can easily do it by train - I believe it's the Roma-Lido from Roma Porta San Paolo... it should take about half hour, depending which stop you get off...

Jami
use google maps to get the idea..
