Because i've booked a holiday from good friday to easter sunday and was hoping for some shopping?

yes.
i live in milan and i know many shops are open friday and saturday..
i don't think sunday are open...
but milan is a beautiful city and you would do a tour of milan...

You will probably find most shops open on Friday and Saturday.
Easter Sunday and the following Monday everything will be tightly shut.
