Siena is one of my favorites. Car traffic is very limited so it's almost all pedestrian. The cobblestone roads have tall, ancient buildings on both sides. The square is unique as it is sloped and is my favorite place in Italy to just sit.

Yes I have been to the city of Siena and it is a very beautiful place with stunning views and amazing architecture, just didn't like the mad driving of the bus driver that took us there from Firenze much.

Hi
I'm italian
I don't live in Siena but I visited it two or three mouth ago and I can tell you that is a beautiful and charming city.
It is not a big city but really interesting.
It is a medieval city and I'm sure you will like it.
I can suggest you to visit, quite close to Siena, Pisa and Florence
I wish you a pleasant journey

Yes, I've been to Siena several times - it's a great place to visit. The old town is one of the larger and more interesting ones. It's a great place for photography. There's a good restaurant in the park below the Piazza del Mercato behind the tower and many others in the city. The last time I was there, there was a large and very good ethnic festival going on.
