I do like Italy. I have been there only once by now and not for a long time, so my feelings about her actually come from her external beauties, that is, the beauties of the cities I have visited. Those are Venice, Florence and Milan so far. I like them all very much, but I have my favorite among them. It is Venice. I just like this city, I find her unique and very charming. I went there in spring, so the weather was nice and sunny and the city looked gorgeous. Florence and Milan are very nice cities as well. Things worth seeing in all those cities are countless and amazing! I plan to visit Italy again not only because I would like to see some other cities (Rome above the rest), but also because I would like to go again to those places I have already visited. I think I need to say no more!
Oh, and I also like Italian cuisine and Italian music very much :)

I love Rome. Its such a beautiful and romantic city. There is so many beautiful buildings and it is steeped in history.

Course I love Italy! Is my home :)

I have liven in Rome my whole life....wonderful place I think. Many do not like it for all the tourists but I think they make better....get to meet many people from all over the world. Rome represents past and future, I will always love it.

I LOVE Italy. It must be one of the most beautiful places on earth. I returned from the North of Italy a few weeks ago. The lake regions are magnificent. Venice is wonderful. When I walked out of the train station, I felt like was entering a something out of the magic kingdom. There is so much history, so much art, so much good food, that it's hard to pick one thing or place. I would love to explore the entire country. I must pick Rome for the history and art. The seacoast toward the south of Italy, Venice for its unique beauty, and I love the Lake Como area.

DIGGER
I Like Italy a great deal - the lakes are truly spectacular, Milan, Rome, Florence, went skiing in a small resort named Ponte de Legno (forgive the spelling - it means the wooden bridge - or so I was told)

Spent 3 years living in Sardinia - Costa Smeralda, Alghero, Cagliari, Chia, Villasimius, Santa Teresa di Gallura, Stintino, San Antioco,Baia Sardinia, Cala Gonone, Cala Luna (one of the best beaches in the Med - can only be rached by boat and would give any beach in the Caribbean a run for its money).

I'd love to be able to go back and live there again.

Loved Tuscanny, Rome and especially Venice. Just got back from my second trip to Italy and in the process of updating my site where I do my travel reviews - http://www.bombasticlife.com

In terms of places I could live well, I would say Ravenna and Genova. Ravenna just epitomizes elegance and it's far from the tourist track. Genova can be rough, but it's insanely multi-cultural, smells fantastic, is close to the Cinque Terre and has a great medieval core. I also love the island of Ischia, which is just a gem. The trees are bright green and the water is bright blue, and it's much less touristy than Capri.

Yes I like Italy, I like the people & the food. I especially like Florence, it is an easy city to walk around. The art is magnifecent, I was enthralled by Michelangelos David.

Rome, the isle of Capri and the isle of Ischia. Both Isles are in the Bay of Naples which is about 2 hours by train. Exit the train in Naples and then you can catch a ferry from there which takes less then an hour.

Hi,

Spoleto (Umbria) is my favourite.

It's a small medieval town rich of culture and during the first two weeks of july it's hosting the big event of "Festival dei due Mondi" when you can visit many different concerts, theater and looking at Art.
Just relaxing and enjoying the fntastic food and wine of Umbria.

Have a look at this site for Articles from Umbria:
