I have been to both.

I would say it depends on what you are comparing.

I enjoyed the culture of France, and the food of Italy. The French people were not as nice as the Italians. France felt like vacation, Italy felt like home to me. France had better transportation than Italy (I don't ride a Vespa!)

So it depends on what you are asking. Be more specific.

I loved both for different reasons.

You can't compare they are different

Totally agree with Sher....... I love both countries but I feel at home in Italy because our cultures are so similar (I'm mexican) and I have some friends there who make me feel very welcome too and who have showed me things that aren't that "touristy". I lived in Rome 1 month and learned how to move in and out of the city from the suburbs, go grocery shopping, hanging out with friends to have pizza at night or to the beach on weekends.... just what a regular Roman does. I did not experience this in France, but Paris is still my favorite city of all. So it all depends on what you're comparing. Both have so much culture and amazing food and architecture, although I agree that italians are nicer people than french!

You are in the Italian section therefore it's quite logical that the majority will vote for Italy... I'm sure that the result will change totally in the French section...

Moreover I disagree with the people who said that we are completely different, basing on my short experience in France, I've observed that we are quite similar from many viewpoints...

Bye^^

I'm sorry, but I do love both! I live in Italy and couldn't imagine living anywhere else. I traveled to France a few summers ago and it's absolutely amazing there. I like them for different reasons.

Italy, home to the ancient Romans and a truly glorious empire at one time. The women are beautiful and the vino the best on the planet. France just has smelly people and chicks with armpit hair.

ella.
We are completely different.
