It's a beautiful town, not very famous. Have you ever been in Turin?

Ciao Pippi.
Not very famous? You must be joking.

Roberto.Dreamer
I'm born in Turin, studied there and then I've moved to paris to work.
Turin is always in my heart because I think it's a nice city with great buildinggs and nice sourrounding place: hills, the river and of course the olympics mountains as a background.
Great history, here Italy was born 150 years ago: so you can find all the royal castles and buildings inside the city and outside: Stupinigi, Racconigi, Venaria Reale are some of the examples of this glorious city.
I agree with you when you say: not very famous. if you compare to other italian city it isn't so known at all!!
During the olympics games I've met a lot of American, Russian, Canadian people who has told me all their surprise with this sentence:
" we have discovered Turin because of the Olympic Games, why haven't you done nothing to capture tourist also before?"
It's Turin's way of being: understatement. The key word of its inhabitants.
They know that they live in a beautiful city, but they are too shy to say it to the world :))))

Go and See Turin! :))
