I have to go with Rome.
Out of all Italian cities that we could have chosen, my wife and I chose to live in Rome - but then again the whole of Italy is spectacular!
Roman life and culture, Rome attractions, rome restaurants and cafes, the nightlife on the Piazzas, especially Campo dè Fiori and in the Trastevere....did I mention the great Italian wine and beer!

I love Italy. I think it's beautiful as well, I will love to visit their someday. The parts I like are Tuscany and Sicily. Also, it's the place where pasta was born, which is my personal FAVORITE FOOD IN THE WHOLE WORLD! |

I think that Sorrento, a southern Italian town near the island of Capri, is the most beautiful place in Italy. Capri is where the Roman emporers used to vacation thaousands of years ago. Here are some sites with pictures. I travel alot and i think Sorrento is comparable to Maui. |

Italy is gorgeous, my favorite country! best city is venice, but i have not visited Rome yet, so that opinion may change. If you are going there, definetly go to Venice. its absolutly gorgeous. |
