Do you need id to get into the major attractions in rome (collessium/vatican)?

You will not need any type of ID to enter any attractions. The only thing i can suggest for you is that if you are going with any girls, they can not wear any type of shorts or skirts that are above the knee when entering the actual church in the Vatican. They will not let you in! Good luck and have fun!

Jospeh is correct - shorts will be turned away, as will sleeveless shirts. You will want to dress very conservatively.

You need the ID to enter the Colosseum cause people under 18 don't pay to enter...they have to check if you're under or above 18...

No, you don't. You just have to pass through a metal detector (like in an airport) to enter into St. Peter's Basilique or in the Vatican Museums.

But you'll not ever need an ID to enter in a monument or in a museum.
