Not roads for cars. When I went there, I had to park in a giant garage outside town and then take a boat taxi to my hotel. You can walk around Venice because there are streets and paths, but they have no vehicles.

If you want to get anywhere fast, you have to take a boat.

Andrei S
no they have flying cars lol

conley39
Mr Meercat is correct. There are roads on the Lido island in addition to the road that goes into Piazzale Roma.

Brittany
No. No roads and no cars. They have canals and they have pavement in the centre.

Mr Meerkat
The Island of Lido south of the city has roads. Venice only has canals after Plazo de Roma which is basically the gateway to the city.

(My 100th answer!)

gighen
Only canal and sidewalk in the center of Venice
