Prices vary a lot here in Italy depending on exactly what's going on. I had a hotel room in Venice for the first weekend of Carnevale last Saturday which was going for 150 euro per night. This weekend, the same room is 400 euro per night. Just a couple of weeks ago, it was much less. You can use the venere.com to find hotels here in Italy. You can sort by price (just click on price) and read reviews by past guests to get an idea of what's available. The cheaper places in Milan tend to be pretty basic. http://en.venere.com/hotels_milan/ There are some places around the Milano Centrale station that aren't too bad.
For hostels, you can try http://www.hostelworld.com/hostels/Milan?source=googleadwordseurotopcities&gclid=COzp0eG16ZgCFQpNQwodtXvl0w, http://www.hostels.com/it.mi.html?source=hostelscomeuro&gclid=CMy9mKS26ZgCFQ5uQgodn3311w , or http://www.hostelbookers.com/hostels/italy/milan/ |

Plenty here , just filter down your options to the lowest price. Hostels are priced per person , so a room may be better value :

You can find some hotels just outside the city that are relatively inexpensive. I work in the travel industry, and I always refer my clients and my friends to the website BookMe. You can compare prices on all the major travel websites and save lots of money. Good luck, and check out the link below. |
