ti rispondo in italiano, va bene?
insegnano l'inglese in TUTTE le scuole, gli insegnanti madrelingua come te sono richiesti nelle università, perciò un po' meglio pagati degli altri.

good luck

In addition to the Italian school system, many cities and towns have independent language schools. Most of the people teaching English, at least in the small city where I live, are young people from the UK. They tend to work on short term contracts for relatively low pay with the benefit of getting to live in Italy for a while. There's a pretty big turnover - most of them are here six months to a year. People from the UK have an advantage in that they can live and work within the EU without a visa and other paperwork. Given your heritage, it's likely that you wouldn't have a big problem moving here.
