Sorry, Sarah. When I went to the Internet, I got only one answer, and that locked up the entire computer. I had to everything but reboot to get out of it.
I'm thinking that somebody doesn't want company in Mairoi. Whether you want to see that as a warning is up to you.
It may help if you look for the correct spelling: Maiori. I've exhausted about 8 points looking for this.

If your driving,I would suggest, heading south to Cetera a tiny little fishing village, the restaurant St. Pietro below the town square,Franco is the owner, best fish on the coast, park down by the water a pleasant walk back to the restaurant.In Minori have pastry at Di Riso, best in Italy,have the ricotta e pera. FYI I vacation on the Amalfi Coast every Sept-Oct. |

There is a resturant a little further north that is AMAZING. Its located in Cuma just past the Cuma arch. There is no name just a bunch of orange trees in front. Also, in the same area is the orginial pizza place. Its on the side of the mountain facing Largo De Averno (Dante's lake of fire) |
