Fantastic restaurants in Florence, Italy?

Looking for an amazing dining experience, ambiance, great food, great staff - doesn't have to be fine dining - going with a bunch of my girlfriends, and we can dress up or down! Will be in Italy May 24th - June 2nd of this year. Any other recommendations (shopping, sights) are welcome, also!

Garga is a great restaurant - pretty expensive, but excellent food and service. It's been featured in Bon Appetit magazine a couple of times. http://www.saveur.com/saveur-travels/europe-middle-east-and-asia/my-new-years-in-florence-21046690.html

L'Enoteca Fuori Porta is good - it's on the road up to San Miniato. Sit outside.

I like the ribollita and the cinghiale at I Cinque Amici. It's a couple of blocks from the Palazzo Vecchio on a street behind the Orsanmichele.

If you go to Fiesole while you're in Florence, this place is good: http://www.lareggiadeglietruschi.com/

Giostra is AMAZING. The best restaurant I have ever been to in my life. Regarding Florence, i encourage you to climb the stairs to the top of the Duomo and eat at Giostra. (you should probably go to the Uffizi as well....) Here is the link for the restaurant. Make a reservation. Have fun, I LOVED Florence!
Lucky!!!

Honey, up-to-date places might change daily everywhere and actually no-one awaits you and your bunch of girlfriends in Florence because too many best dressed/beautyful Italian Ladies are already on the spot! By the way: you can eat very well all over and shopping is great but don't leave home without your Amexco! Have fun anyway...

The best hotel in Florence is the Enoteca Pinchiorri, but it's very expensive.

I'd suggest Harry's Bar, but only because they've got the craziest sandwiches and the yummiest Bellinis.

And if you can, go to Vivoli for the best gelati you'll ever have. It's on Via Stinche. I forget the name of the museum, but if you walk on the left-hand side of il Duomo walking toward the Arno, and before you hit the little square/plaza (don't go past the little weapons shop; really), you'll hang a left. The turn is immediately AFTER the museum that'll be on the left-hand side of the street (sorry; can't remember the name of the museum).

Yummy. Gelati.
