Flight from Boston, MA to Naples, Italy?

I'm looking for some help finding the lowest airfare to get from Boston, MA (or Harford, Ct; or Manchester, NH) to Naples, Italy (or if it is really low I would be okay with flying into an airport close to Naples)

I've looked around some, but I'm hoping some of you are better at finding the deals and can help me out.

My travel dates are Tues. May 19, 2009- Wed. May 27, 2009

They usually have straight flights to Naples only during the summertime, starting in May

There are no budget airlines that fly from Boston to anywhere in Italy, but the prices right now are still much lower than they have been in the last year or so. A $543 round-trip airfare on US Airways/Air One isn't bad, but you'll have two connections to make. Going to Manchester, Providence, or Hartford won't help on the route or price.

You could get a flight from Boston to Rome on your dates for $442 on United with a connection in Frankfurt. This one arrives at Fiumicino airport - take the Leonardo Express train from the airport to Roma Termini train station for 11 euro and catch a train there for Naples. An Intercity train will take 2 hours and cost 19.50 euro in 2nd class. A faster Frecciarossa train takes 1 hr 21 min and costs 39.90 euro.

Personally, for this price difference, I'd fly into Naples.

Another option is Aer Lingus. They fly from Boston to Shannon in Ireland and also from Shannon to Naples. Right now, however, the airfare ($649) for your dates between Boston and Ireland alone is more than the other flight to Naples.
