For my 1st night in Italy (never been there), where should I stay if I arrive in Milan airport (MXP) at 6 pm? |
I am going to Italy for 10 days in June and land in Milan Malpensa airport (MXP) at around 5:30 pm on a Saturday night and will be picking up a rental car. I don't really want to go into Milan that night but would prefer to be in a village or more natural setting -- ultimately heading to Bologna. Are there beautiful places within a few hours of MXP? I tried a few hotels at Lake Como and they seem booked up for the weekend (but suggestions there welcome too). |

hi I'm from Italy (Close to malpensa Airport)
the best place is Lake of Como...But in June no problem to book a Hotel in advance...Plenty of them
(other places in this area aren't so Intresting)
Malpensa airport is far like 40 Kms to Milan downtown
but well serviced with bus and train
in June at 6PM you gonna meet lots of people in the airport
Is busy until midnight
and the sun will shine until 9 PM 9.15 PM |
