I advise you to see Rome, Venice and Florence. They are the most beautiful cities in Italy in my opinion...
Also Milan and Naples are beautiful
I advise you against to see Bologna because is not as beautiful as the other ones that I've mentioned ... |

Hi,
First of all, I think you should visit Tuscany region.
Tuscany has a lot to offer and you can visit a lot of enchanting places (such as Florence, Lucca, Siena, Pisa...and many more!)
I also advice you to enjoy Naples(south of Italy) and its coast...Rome(centre of Italy) and the most romantic city.....VENICE!
I'm an Italian tourist operator then don't hesitate to contact me fpr additional information.
I can help you planning an amazing tour across italy.... :) |

i'm italian and for me the most beautiful cities in my country are ROME, VENICE, FLORENCE and NAPLES. they're full of history and art and venice's really romanitc. but it's also beautiful Tuscany, the region where florence is in (i don't know if this last sentence is corret... sorry xDxD) with all its beautiful towns and hills.
if you're crazy about shopping MILAN is full of boutiques, but i think that every town in italy is full of boutiques and shops |

I went in April ( around easter when there were lots of tourist, a bit of rain but not too cold, not too hot)
Verona is lovely, it has a lovely setting and definately a place to see ( especially with the "colloseum" and the romeo and juliet link)
Pompeii---well its sort of a place to go to rather than stay
Capri
Sorrento
Lucca- near florence which is definately great little town
Pisa...just for the tower, near florence too
Bologna is lovely, with a medieval feel
Sienna is lovely too...definately a place to see.
