There is a Galleria dell'Accademia in Florence and another one in Venice. The one in Florence has Michelangelo's statue of David. The one in Venice is in the Scuola Grande Santa Maria and is an art museum.

Orla C
There's one in each city.

zafir
Both Florence and Venice have Galleria dell'Accademia

I have been to it. In both cities. I remember having a bit of trouble locating the one in Venice, but the one in Florence was more impressive...David, and all!

ktprieto
Florence, this is where the statue of David is located.
