Getting married in Italy?

6 people traveling to Italy (2) to get married in June. Is it a good idea to buy tickets now or should we wait to see if ticket prices will come down?

I'd say buy them now. The longer you leave it, the higher the prices, as travel agencies SOMETIMES put them up when the depature date is near.
Also, you get a better choice if you book early and hotels and flights are less likely to be booked up.

But holiday companies by lots of holidays, and if they aren't selling after a certain amount of time, they become a LOT cheaper.

So I agree with Nicole, book around March time, but weigh up the pros and cons and do what you think is best and will save you the most money.

well, ticket prices are falling but I would definitely buy the tickets before mid-March.

It's difficult to know, isn't it?

Given how things are going, there may well be loads of empty seats which the airlines will be desperate to sell for any price.

On the other hand, things may get SO bad that lots of flights start to get cancelled, so allowing the remaining seats to be sold for more.

On balance, I suppose I'm with those who suggest you leave it to March, but pay attention to what sort of news is coming out of the airline and tourism industries concerning demand for seats on planes and how the airlines are responding.
