My fiance and I were just there this past summer... it's amazing. Make sure you get some gelato
Obviously you need to see the Vatican, the Colisseum, Piazza Navonne, Pantheon, and all the other "big" places...
but make sure you get to see the catacombs... they were so incredible and fascinating.

hi!!!!!!!!!
everywhere!!!!!!!!

To Rome?? WOW. =O
Go everywhere you can! Look up Rome hotels or something on Google....it will tell you the places there and it will tell you ABOUT all the places in Rome.

Good place details :

Colosseum - A major attraction to visit, Romans used to gather around that area for fights and other entertainment purposes.

Fontana de Trevi - As a traditional legend in Rome, You're supposed to toss a coin in the fountain, and that will ensure your return to Rome. ;-).

More on this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trevi_Fountain

Spanish Steps - Sorry, I don't know much on this one.

The Pantheon - Temple to all gods of Ancient Rome

I can't think of anywhere else. You can look these up in the Wikipedia site for more details and info.
