Milan is a very busy city...But,if you can look "inside" Milan you'll discover a very beautiful city, with its good and bad things, but a city that mixes modern and ancient in a very special way^^ |

Not really that much to do in Milan apart from go the the duomo and visit the galleria. Dont eat at any of the cafe's in the galleria though...very pricey!!!
The only other place that i can think of is via montenaplioni soomethink like that) where all the designer shops are but these are very expensive. |

IL Duomo of Milan the cathedral is fantastic, Milan is like a small London |

The Cathedral is very fine and there are some famous (and famously expensive) shops but it is a large noisy dirty industrial city, so you have to bear that in mind too. Milan wins over Rome and Tuscany in that it's relatively easy to get up to the lakes and mountains if that's your thing.....
It depends what you are after from your trip. If you want a living city where history takes second place to modern life then Milan may be for you. If you want peace and beauty with your culture & history then maybe not. |

I live near Milan, so I can tell you that there is too much traffic (like every Italian city), but there are many monuments that deserve of being visit. People are kind and available (like every Italian person), so if you go to Milan you shouldn't have any problem.
Sorry for my bad English^^ |
