I just got back yesterday. You will love it. I'd highly recommend having desert at Tre Scallini in Piazza Novana. Specifically the Tartuffo. We had it and we had to have it again.
Depending on where you are located, we had a great lunch at a small place called Gaudi. Its located by the north-east end of the Borghese Park really close to the Gallery on Via Salaria. It was a locals spot for lunch - the brick oven pizza and the mozzarella cheese w/ prosciutto were out of this world delicious. Funny thing is we passed it by because its attached to a gas station in a way, but came back too it and we're so happy we did. |

Hi!
I'm Italian and I go to Rome every 2/3 months.
Rome is a really nice city (I'd say the most beautiful).
I suggest you some place to visit (each website represents a monument):

Rome is the most amazing city in the world (besides New York City). I go there a couple times a month, my family owns an apartment there. I would definitely go to the Vatican and other very historical places. Be careful around the colosseum, a lot of gypsies tend to hang out around there looking for tourists to rob. Oh and grab a cappuccino at Caffe Sant' Eustachio. It's a small place but very delicious for quick breakfasts. You can email me if you have any questions on where to stay or where to eat!! Have so much fun, Rome is so beautiful |

Rome is amazing...what kind of advice would you like? I would definitely recommend seeing the Vatican City, Trevi Fountain and Coleisum when you go...they are really amazing to see. It is a very beautiful city and I would say the best way to get around it is on foot. Its much easier than trying to find trains, buses etc and theres not that far to walk if you just stay in the main area which have all the above sites. Have fun =] |
