Have you been to Lake Garda?

I am going on a school trip for a week to Lake Garda, Italy with the school tour operators "Club Europe" on a concert tour. Has anyone been on this trip, if yes, what is it like?

I haven't been on the concert tour, but I live about an hour south of Lake Garda. You'll have a great time, there are castles, beaches, good food, some interesting museums, old Roman ruins, and sailing. Garda is the largest and cleanest of the Italian glacial lakes. There are lots of small towns around the lake. It's also close to Verona and there are amusement parks (like Gardaland) and other attractions nearby.

It is absolutely great. I have been there twice and I can assure you you'll have a lot of fun. The lake is surrounded by little cute towns and each one of them has something different to offer. There are great restaurants and please eat a lot of lake fish, if you like it. There are many little antique shops and handmade objects shops as well.

They have great boat tours on the lake where they organize dinner and dancing parties. I have ever done it but I know people who think it is unbelievable.

So have fun.
Hope I gave you some good info.
