Praiano is a breathtaking place with beautiful panaromic views and beaches. It is not as expensive as some of the other places I have visited throughout Italy, but these days with Euro being what it is that may have changed. There is much to see and do, but bring your walking shoes and unless you are a seasoned driver - try NOT driving in the area. The public transportation works quite well. The restaurants, especially the places frequented by the locals can lead to memorable meals and great savings.
