born and raised. but the region of which it is capital, has a lot to offer..old ruins, and the further south along the coastline, the more you see. research "apulia" is the name of the region. fantastic beaches.

Bari is a nice place and mainly a coastal city but doesn't have much sights to see but is all right.

Yes, took the ferry from Croatia to Bari and spent the night in a hotel before getting on the train to cross Italy. There's not much there -- it was just a spot to change transportation!
