Garda Lake is a good place for a holiday. I was there the weekend before last. The town of Garda itself is pretty small, but nice. It's connected by ferry or bus to the other towns around the lake. Desenzano and Peschiera on the south end of the lake have the advantage of being on the train line.
The towns I like best are Malcesine, Sirmione and Limone, but all the towns have interesting things to see and do. Sirmione and Malcesine have particularly nice castles. Sirmione has a large Roman ruin as well.
The water levels were down a little because it's been pretty dry here this year. |

Garda, Lazise, Sirmione, Torri del Benaco, Bardolino, Limone and Peschiera are main cities around the lake but those are small cities with more cool.mountains and lake will make us more pleasure. beautiful botanic gardens also there. ( not to miss) sail and windsurfing are main activities there you can do other than going to see attractions and shopping. for long vacation in Italy this is ideal place that i can recommend you |
