Tuscany is between the north and the centre of Italy, on the left coast of Thyrrenian Sea. We can say that Tuscany (Toscàna) is an open air museum. All the cities arrive to us from the Etruscan people, then Roman, then Renaissance (Leonardo da Vinci, Vinci is a little village of that region). Italy is divided in regions, one of them is Tuscany. Every region has a chief region. The chief region of Tuscany is Florence (Firénze). There are many other cities in that region: Pisa, Arezzo, Grosseto, Lucca, Prato, and you have only the problem of the choice what to see first, 'cause the story of this region is going through all centuries of Italy. So you can choose to see the cities, or little cities, important villages, Etruscan culture or Roman one, Middle age or Renaissance, Churches or landscapes, eating and drinking what you want through the food and wine, perhaps the most tasty of Italy. If ou don't know: about cheeses only, there are more than 5000 kind. We can say that near every city or village has its own kind of food and wine. If you go, you have to know that it's very important know that not all the wines are good for all the food. Every food has its wine, 'cause the wine is a food, not to drink only, to drink only we have water! Ciao.

HI! I live near tuscany...I live to 80 kilometers from Florence, do you know? But, why do you like so much Tuscany? In Italy, all the place are similar to tuscany...indeed, everyplace in Italy is more beautful than tuscany! There are a lot of city similar to Florence...like BOLOGNA, ROMA, VERONA, NAPOLI...isn't it?
