I visited Rome, Pisa, Florence, Venice, Assisi, Sorrento, Capri,Taormina, Agrigento, Palermo and Naples. What a beautiful country! I loved the culture, food, history and of course the people. I too threw my coin in the Trevi Fountain and hope to return. See the works of Michelangelo in pictures does not compare to seeing them in real life.

lived there half of my life. I've been back in the states for 4 years and miss my favorite country (and la mia famiglia). It's beautiful. If you haven't visited, you definitely should. I lived near Venice and it's my favorite city in the world.

If the wife and I did not have any grandchildren, we would be out of here and head for Pesaro, Vieste or Bari permanently. Every time we get ready to leave there is always some hesitation. Cousins are ready, willling and able to assist in any way === part time jobs (probably teaching), housing, etc. All we need is a good reason to sell everything, move to ITALIA and enjoy our retirement years.

Born right here in the good old USA and never wanted to live anywhere else...until I visited Italy. I got to see a good bit of scenery from Trieste to Pisa. While in Aviano, I met a fellow West Virginian who was stationed there, and he said of all the places he had been stationed, Italy was the place where he felt closest to being home.

If you can afford it, I strongly suggest you pay Italy a visit.

Zombo78
Yes.
I live in Tuscany from my birth, 1978.

But I've never visited south Italy or Milano.
Tuscany is the most beautifull place in Italy.

Yes, I was lucky enough to visit last spring. Spent time in Rome, Naples, Amalfi Coast and Venice.

I would love to go back. I threw my coin into the Trevi Fountain, so hopefully I will get to return to Rome.

Italy
I have lived in different countries, and I have to say that wherever I go I always want to return back to Italy, it is just awesome..I love the whole lifestyle..
The north and the southern part are completely different from each other, I would not say that one is better or worse..there are to many beautiful cities that are worth visiting..

*Giulia* Pisa City Rambler
I'm italian and I live in Pisa... suggest you to visit this beautiful city! ;D

mentaliptus
yes, i'm living here for a year, and soon i'll be back home.
nice country to make tourism not for living, very folkloric, bureaucratic, and disorganized.
i miss the real modern cities living here, the "glamorous era" has left behind. a lot of italians wants to get out of here and go to live others countries like Spain, or AMERICA as they say UNITED STATES.
I realize here that they have a huge admiration for the states.
