Hello, i am italian.... cave in italy.......in north east of italy there are a lot of caves
in liguria region there is the Toirano caves inside it was found scheleton of a big prehistoric bear
in south of italy in puglia there is another important cave called Castellana.nice to visit
but everywhere in italy there are caves, in the Alpi and Appennini (our mountain), also the vulcanic cave around Etna Vulcanos will be interesting. Sardinia have a lots of caves.
us we have the caves on the sea
one famous in the world is called Grotta Azzurra in Capri island.
i suggest to you see the website called CAI and after looking the section Grotte (caves) will be a section for the speleologist
cheers
i hope my english is good bye
