Italy is absolutely incredible! Such a beautiful country. You might find European people a bit rude, but not saying anything bad about them or anything, it's just a different culture. An American going to Europe for the first time might have issues with locals ignoring them or cutting in line (there is no concept of a line there...haha). I absolutely love it though. You get to experience something totally different that what you're used to. Don't rent a scooter if you're in a big city, you'll get run over. But it's a must if you're in the country or in Capri!! I spent 2 weeks this past summer in Italy. I went from Pisa, trained it along the Tuscany coast to Rome, bus to Sorrento, ferry over to Capri for a day (while in Capri you have to do the cruise around the island...it's 2 hours....and you must spend the 10 euros to see the Blue Grotto!!!) Pompeii....you need a full day to see the entire ancient city...it's huge! bus across the southern tip to Brindisi and then a ferry to Greece.

ITALY IS A MUST DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Italy. I moved to a town south of Verona about nine years ago and still try to go out exploring most weekends. The people are wonderful. There's always something interesting going on - I particularly like the thousands of festivals that feature local foods or traditions.

yes,its lovely,have been to rome and a place called Anzio,love Italian food too,but i really would like to go to the Amalfi coast,a bit expensive tho,but some dat i hope.

I love Italy, I've been many times.
TIP - to cross over one of Rome's nightmare roads, look out for a group of nuns and cross with them. Motorists are reluctant to run over nuns.

in italy there are a lot of wondefurl place. food is very good and in naples there is the famous pizza....mmmmmmmmm very very good...i live in sorrento a small country opposito of naples!
