I love the Italian language, ma la gramatica e molto dificile. Parlo abastanza bene, but I don't write very well.

The language is expressive, beautiful, and so full of nuance -- much like the people of Italy themselves!

Viva Italia!

I'm peruvian so I speak spanish, since I married an Italian woman (she was born in Peru but her parents were both italians from Verona) and she speaks italian all the time with her family, I got the hang of it, even though spanish is similar, it's not the same thing, so I have problems trying to express myself in Italian, It's a lovely language and I encourage myself to learn more each time.

questo che e ho viaggato a Italia per 21 giorni (2006), mi piagge molto aprendere sua lingua

Arrivederci Ragazza!

Well, I'm from Los Angeles, and Italian is confusing because we are used to Spanish (which I know very little of also). So when I search for a word in my mind in Italian, it comes out in Spanish, and I will probably be misunderstood when I go to Rome in May. I especially can not remember to say per favore instead of por favor.
