ciao io sono italiano e vivo in australia, quest'anno per la prima volta ho passato il natale in australia.........che tristezza. manca l'atmosfera le famiglie no si radunano, vanno in spiaggia e la sera non fanno niente. fa caldo manca la neve, l'albero di natale e' smorto..... e pultroppo il capodanno non si prospetta migliore, pensa e' vietato e non li vendono i famigerati botti, neanche le miccette, e poi dolce sinfundo non puoi brindare in mezzo la strada come facciamo noi, sono analcolici, tanto sono tutti ubriachi lo stesso e si meneranno. al mattino ci sara' il bollettino con feriti dovuto alle mazzate che si sono dati la notte..... tutto sommato e' meglio sparare le miccette.

In the UK, it is traditional to eat a HUGE meal, perhaps starting with sea-food, maybe fish, and then the main course, which is a large roast turkey. This is eaten with roast and boiled potatoes, peas, sweet-corn, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, swede, parsnips, stuffing and cranberry sauce..! Also, expect some ham and bacon, and small sausages.
The next course is Christmas pudding - very rich and fruity, usually doused in brandy which is set alight! A small coin, a six-pence is often hidden in the pudding - whoever finds it is blessed with good luck... The pudding is eaten with custard, or cream, or brandy-butter.
After cheese and crackers, with some grapes... We then have Christmas cake! This is a rich and heavy fruit cake, not too far from the pudding in its' ingredients. It is usually covered in white icing.

I had meatballs and spaghetti/rice yesterday, and today I had yogurt, potato chips and a burger. I would love to go to Italy one day. I love italian food!! :-)

Well, we're italian too, but I was born in America. Our tradition is on Christmas day, we eat plenty of Antipasto at 1:00, and at 2 we have a big meal of both chicken and pork and many pastas. Email me sometime.

Well...... some traditions i do is: Opening 1 gift on christmas eve every year. and hmmmmm maybe like my moms cooking, and what we ALWAYS do to her, lol we ACT like its good ( its n-o-t not good).
