i like italy, but i have faced a lot of racism and even tho some people r nice, i'll rather live in the US...there still racism in US, but its not that open and acceptable as it is in italy.
a me piace moltissimo l'talia pero' il problema e' che la gente e' un po' troppo razzista. io sono meta' italiana, ma ogni volta che vado in italia a trovare i miei parenti, la gente mi tratta un po' male perche' sono un po' piu' scura rispetto al resto della popolazione italiana. immediatamente si mettono in testa che sono marocchina o che sono una profuga che vuole rubare lavoro a tutti gli italiani, mentre in realta' io in italia non ci vivo piu'! quest'estate sono andata a visitare i miei nonni a milano e a roma, e una vecchia brutta zoccola mi fa, "ma voi marocchini volete sempre venire qui in italia a rubare i nostri lavori, la nostra cultura?", io non gli ho neanche detto niente xche' non sapeva quanto aveva torto, e non era neanche il caso di litigare con una vecchia, ignorante. cmq, io sono meta' italiana e vengo sempre trattata come una clandestina...gli albanesi vengono perfino trattati meglio di me, xche' hanno la pella chiara...
uno dei motivi per cui ho lasciato l'italia e ora vivo in california!!!!!!!!! |

Mio marito is siciliano, he comes from Catania.
I married him 1 year ago, I am American and we are very contenta! I love Italy, though I have not been there with him yet... his familiia still lives in Sicily and they do not speak inglese so it is very difficult to communicate with them. I am still learning Italiano, so don't laugh at my spelling or if my grammar is wrong.
I like italians, for the most part... though there are quite a few of my husbands amici's that mi dispiaci...
