The distance is approximately 130 kilometres( 80 miles). Take the Sp14 from San Marino heading north east towards Rimini then turn of onto the A14 and keep going until you arrive at Bologna.

According to Via Michelin it is 140km and 1' 39'' drive - http://www.viamichelin.com/viamichelin/int/tpl/hme/MaHomePage.htm . If you don't have a car, you can take a bus from San Marino to the train station in Rimini and a train from Rimini to Bologna. You can check the train schedules on http://www.trenitalia.com/. And find out more about the local bus companies making the trip from San Marino to Rimini on http://www.visitsanmarino.com/default.asp?id=37.
