Denmark---It may easier to catch a ride if you ask people at gas stations or parking areas , or rest areas because hitchhiking on the highway is illegal

In Italy --It may be easier to catch a ride if you are near the autostrada...

there are many transport lines in Milano downtown , If I remember well, near Cadorna station , one of them can take you to the Bergamo Airport wich I think is the nearest Airpot to Milano
