Hi!
I'm Italian and i can say that Italy is so beautiful, and wherever you go there's something new.
About Lake Garda (Lago di Garda),it's very very good, the weather is nice...
Gardaland is wonderful!!!there are an infinite number of games, aquatic and not.
There is also Mirabilandia, another themepark not far from there.
You can see Lake of Como (alessandro manzoni's novel 'the promised spouses'),Milano and a lot of other places!
Have a nice holiday and sorry for my english not good!!:-(
I'm 14!

The most wonderful things you can do in Lake Garda are here, presented to you by GardaYou. Check them out!
Our Top Ten:

A romantic trip on the boat from Malcesine to Limone: if you go to the northern sides of the lake check the boat timetables and take this wonderful trip. You’ll see the lake coasts you cannot see in any other way, and visit the quiet villages. Very cool shopping and eating. See our recommended accommodation in Limone and Malcesine.

Visit the MART, in Rovereto: the most important cultural event during the last 30 years in Italy, have been the opening of this Multimedia Museum in Rovereto (a few km up north of Riva). It its permanent exibhitions of modern and contemporary art in an innovative architecture.

A dinner by “Ago & Rita”: On Torri del Benaco, the Verona side of the lake, among the olive trees, Ago waits for you in his “Trattoria” where you can taste Tigelle, Salami and Cheeses, Gnocco Fritto and other specialties with wine, grappa, music and Agos’s own show. Young people come from everywhere in northern Italy to spend the entire evening here (Dancing to late hours, Reserving highly recommended!)

Get to the to the Monte Baldo summit, with the new Rotating cablecar: leaving from Malcesine it brings you up to the Monte Baldo summit, see the incredible landscape of the lake from the summit, hike freely trough Monte Baldo paths or bring your mountain bike with you.

Taste the world’s famous Valpolicella wines: just near the lake you’ll be able to visit the producers of the world’s famous Recioto, Amarone wines, and have the opportunity to taste it and why not .. bring some bottles home!

Amusement and Thematic parks: spend a day in Gardaland, Caneva World or Parco Natura Viva for the enjoyment of children and yours. See more.

A day in Verona: spend a day in Romeo and Juliet town, waiting for an evening appointment with the lyric in Arena.

Visit the Vittoriale: the bizarre villa and the park of Gabriele D’Annunzio the most colourful and controversial personality of Italian literature.

Enjoy a relaxing afternoon in Parco SigurtĂ : in Valeggio near Peschiera ending with a romantic dinner in the medieval village of Borghetto on the Mincio river side.

Visit CAMPO: a small medioeval village at the feets of Monte Baldo.

T erra dei Forti Tour: the river Adige valley connects the mediterranean world to the german world up to the north. We have dedicated an entire section of our site. Terra dei Forti . (Castles, Wineries and Vineyards, Churces, Agritourism, Restaurants ..)

The area around Lake Garda is beautiful. If you have your own transport, day trips to places like Verona are possible. It makes for a rather long day, but you can even fit in a visit to Venice if you get an early start.

I like the area, but you need to bear in mind that it is popular with Italians for their holidays, so it can get _very_ crowded at peak holiday time (which is right now - the last two weeks of August). However, at the start of September, the Italian schools start again, the hordes of Italians all head back home and some degree of sanity resumes.

Gardaland is not the only theme park on the lake. See the below link for information on this cluster of glossily packaged - and very noisy - fun.

If you live in the UK and just want to go to a theme park, I'd suggest you head for Alton Towers or Disneyland Paris. I really don't think that Gardaland is so special that, on its own, it merits the hassle and expense of organising a trip to Italy and dealing with the language barrier. If you're desperate for both sun and big theme parks, then it might even be cheaper to buy a package holiday to Florida.

If you live in the States, then it would be just totally silly to come to Italy specifically for a theme park experience.
