How's the weather in Rome in October?

I've been to Italy but I don't know what the weather is like over there after the hot summer time. I would like to take my husband to Rome next October or November (that's the only time we could travel). What weather can we expect?

you can even expect some rainy days...temperatures between 10- 20 degrees C. I've been many times in Rome and I#ve had all kind of weather . So you can expect everything, but the evenings will be already a bit cold.

It's anyones guess. It can be anywhere from 60 degrees F to 30 degrees F. I always recommend packing for layers so you can add/subtract clothing as needed for the temp. I've been to Rome 4 times in Oct/Nov and have had different temps but have always had plenty of sunshine.

I was there the first week of november last year. It is the rainy season so be prepared for that. otherwise it can vary from semi-warm to cold. Like someone else said bring layers and a coat.
