Hi there... I'm italian, i live in turin...
from milan to turin the best way is by train.. there are many trains per day, and the journey isn't neither long.. about one hour and a half,. or little more...
any way, check on this websitem you'll find all the trains..

Ah yes, the complete name of milano's station is "Milano centrale" and turin is "Torino porta nuova, or Torino porta susa", but the most important is the first, porta nuova...

with a normal train it takes 1h55' and costs 8€ 2nd cass and 13 1st class.
by last generation train it takes 1h22' and costs 21€ 2nd class 27 1st class.
