People don't often look to see what category your question is in, so you should repeat all details in your question, even though you may have entered it specifically under a certain city.

Guess you got tired of eating their chocolates.

(They are some of my favorites)

For things to do.. Go to Siena, the historic horse race around the piazza should be comming up in a month or two.

Failing that, head south to Rome or East to the Ancona. There are a lot of nice places around.

NOTE TO OTHERS: If the catagory is Home > Travel > Italy > Perugia > ... what city do you thing the asker is refering to?

The Città della Domenica is the place to visit with its 40 hectares of park area in the Monte Pulito - Perugia, which can be covered by following its delightful trails

"Festival del Sole"
July 16-23, 2006

And it looks like there is tons of museums and art galleries that you could go to if you're into that sort of thing.

I think, personally, that this would be a city for an older crowd to visit.

Hi! I lived & studied in Perugia for an year (last year). Well...I loved Perugia because it's so beautiful and peaceful and safe but it was too small and there are not such things to do. But...in July it will Umbria Jazz for a week (it's very nice - a lot of diverse music all night long and many tourists).
Till then...you can go out by night in Piazza 4 Novembre ("stare sulle scale" with friends, drink beer, meet new people). If you like art, you should visit the Umbrian Art Gallery. And...when it's a sunny summer day, you should stay "sul prato", on the grass, read a book, chat, neer to that church ( like a temple)- San Michele, I think & also neer Chiesa San Francesco. And eat many ice-cream...I love it!!! There are some nice bars ( I have worked in one, "Le Grand Bar") and pubs, too.
And, of course...go to Assisi (it's great!), Spoleto and Orvieto.
You can also visit a site for other informations: www.egeneration.pg.it
Good Luck! I'd love to be there...
P.S. Are you as an Erasmus student in Pg?
