Small hotels in Italy usually join a company like Utell that represents them in booking people into their properties.
Travel agents call Utell, or book Utell properties on their computer.
I am sure they charge something, but itty bitty hotels belong, so it can't be too much.
800 44 utell is their phone number. Perhaps they can guide you.
Having a listing in the Hotel and Travel index is also a good feature for hotels. It is one of the main sources travel agents have for finding properties.
It is important they pay a 10 percent commission to agents, so we can recommend them to our clients.
