Here you go, I live here in Italy but fly to the States a lot. I ususally look on travelocity.com and under the flexible dates link. Then you can find a ticket the cheapest. You have to be semi flexible on the dates, but march is off season there will be seats at cheap prices. Then when I buy the ticket I try to book to a major airport. For instance I fly from Rome italy to Seattle WA. Then i buy another ticket from seattle to anchorage. Flying to major hubs is cheaper, so if you can do that. Look italy isnt that unusual, I think a really cool place is somewhere like Malta, they all speak english and its in the middle of the med. its about 80 KM south of Sicily, its an english colony. Lots of history, I havent meet many americans who have been there. That is about a 100 euro r/t ticket after rome. Hotels can be booked online to save, and the bus system there is really good. Its an Isalnd. It will be a little cold in March though.

they have good deals to Italy. I bought an independent package last year. it's reliable! my friends just bought an escorted tour to Italy in Nov. they said the service was good!

I went to Ischia with my fiance last summer and it's really romantic.
Try to take a look. u have to fly to Napoli (Naples) and then u go to this little island by boat...it takes like 45 minutes.

there's also another island, Capri, but they told me it's more expensive.
Anyways, as I already told u take a look for Ischia and if u go before the summer I'm sure it wont cost that much.
