How do you get inside a bank in Italy (Florence)? |
I don't know Italian. They have like little tubes, one says Enter, one says Exit. How do I get them to open up so I can step inside? Also, how do I ask to exchange currency?
Additional Details I'm sure I can ask in English, but my primary question was how do I get inside the bank? |

It works like an air lock that allows one person to pass at a time. At my bank there's a button by the door (or sometimes, the outer door is open when you arrive). You push the button and the inner doors close and the outer doors open. You go in the door and the outer doors close and the inner doors open. You may have to empty your pockets before the inner doors open if you've got too much metal. |

well you see the bank. Usually there is a strange door that seems a cylinder. It may be written "entrata" (enter in italian). There is a button that you can press. Then there will be a green light and the door will open.Once you're inside the tube you'll have to wait until there will be another green light and the internal door will open. For changing currency you can say it in italian " Ho bisogno di cambiare denaro in..." (I need to change my currency in...") but as it has been said there will be at least one person who can understand at least a sentence in english....I'm italian so I hope it will help |
