Hi... Ciaffone is a dialect word that means slap...
It's used in some part of northern Italy so maybe some Italians can't know it!! Sorry for my English but I hope that now everything is clear!!! Saluti dall'Italia :) |

Pronounce it chahf- fòh-ne (stress on the "o" and double "f" sounds as in English 'affairs- the chah sounds as in English the cha of charter).
"Ciaffone" is an Italian slang term ,widespreaded in Italy, and it means slap (in the face). The corresponding word in standard Italian is "ceffone" or "schiaffo" - |

Maybe you mean CEFFONE or SCHIAFFONE, they both mean "big slap". Never heard of something/someone called ciaffone. |

maybe you meant "CEFFONE", it's a unformal way to say " backhanded slap". Or it could be (not very probable) a dialectal word...
[ dite che è dialetto? ma di dove?] |
