I am going to Rome for 3 days at the start of October/ Can anyone suggest a good hotel in the Historical Centre that won't cost me more than 70 pounds / 100 Euros a night please?...
I may be spending a few months in Rome next year. A friend of mine went to Italy a few years back and said it was fabulous but a bit dangerous when crossing the street.
My hubby and i would be visiting Rome, Florence and Venice from 28 Sept - 7 Oct. Then flying to Paris til 11 Oct. So wondering how the weather will be like? When does Autumn season starts? I heard ...
Just wanted to know if there is anywhere close to Rome or Florence where it will be snowing at the end of November? Doesn't have to be for skiing just want to see it!
June is high season so hotels, and restaurants will be more expensive, however, you have a choice to eat in small local restaurants for much less than the higher touristic restaurants that will charge you and arm and a leg.
Capri though is a "rich" area, where lots of movie stars and important politicians go for vacation too, so that always puts it at a higher rate.
Try going in April or September instead next time.

It can be very expensive or very inexpensive. We did both. We had dinner at an expensive place one night, and then on our last night we went to different local stores and bought bread, cheese, wine, tomatoes, olives, grapes, and put together our own picnic!

Not. Depends of what you are calling expensive. About €20,=
