The train from Venice to Pisa takes 4 hr, 16 min with a train change in Florence. You can check specific schedules and prices here: http://www.trenitalia.com/en/index.html

You can get driving directions at viamichelin.com: http://www.viamichelin.it/viamichelin/ita/dyn/controller/ItiWGPerformPage?ie=utf-8&reinit=1&strStartCityCountry=612&strStartAddress=&strStartMerged=venice&strDestCityCountry=612&strDestAddress=&strDestMerged=pisa&image2.x=35&image2.y=9#

It's about 330 km - 3 hr, 15 min.

between 4 and 4:30hours on Trenitalia.

Summer
i'd say around 3 hours travel time.

you have to account for taking a boat from venice to land, then driving about 2ish hours i'd say. maybe more. I just went to italy this past summer , and we did'nt go to piza beause it wasn't that close.

The shortest route is approximately 200 miles, and should take you about 3 hours

From Venezia get on the A4 and follow the signs to Padova, then take the A13 to Bologna, the A1 to Prato, then the A11 to Pisa.

Unfortunately all of these roads are toll roads, so have some Euros ready, and prefereably drive a left handed car.

Alternatively , you could take the scenic route.

From Venezia follow the signs to Mestre, then take the S309 to Ravenna. This takes you along the coast, which is well worth seeing. Then from Ravenna take the S67 to Firenze, and on to Pisa. None of these roads are toll roads, but it could add up to 1 hour to journey. If you are travelling by car, I suggest you buy a road map of Italia.

Alertnatively you could get there by train, or there may be a flight from Venezia to Pisa.
