How far is gardaland from the coast in italy?

we are planning on visiting italy in the summer but half the family want an action packed adventure and gardaland seems ideal. the other half would like a relaxing sun holiday at the coast so i was just wondering how far away it is from a nice beach.

You should have specified where is located yr resort on the coast to give you an exact idea abt. the distance.
You can determine this by yourself using this link (I'm sending you an example starting from Lido di Venezia to Affi where is Gardaland)

Gardaland is located very close the Garda's lake (the Municipality is Affi in the Verona's province) but you can find any kind of infos on their website. I pass you their link in English
http://www.gardaland.it/en/home.php
This Gardaland park is really amusing but I guess in the summer period it will be extremely crowded and you will not enjoy it completely.I've been over there 2 times with my kids; the first time it was just by end July and we were out after only one hour since there were soooooo many people that it was impossible even walk. I returned there in fall and it was really enjoyable.
If I was you (but this will depends also how high will be the pressure of yr kids or other components of yr family) I would keep staying relaxing at the seaside and I would plan another trip to Italy in a different period (spring or fall) and include the visit at Gardaland in that itinerary. Believe me,summer is not at all the most suitable period to visit this amazing park.

CHatch
Its outside of Verona Italy. Looks about 80 or 90 miles from the Eastern coast.

It depends on what coast......Gardaland is about a 2 hour drive from Venice. Find lake Garda on a map.
We went and had a great time.
