Chilly, especially the northern part, sout is better, not too warm thought, but feb is cold cold cold, they had lots of snow everywhere this year.

2day at 11:36 ect in milan, we have -2°c, during the night min temp was -4°c max temp forcasted 7°c, in the next day it will get a bit warmer at night reaching 0°c during daytime max temp it will be staiyng around 6/7°c.
feb min average temp is -1°c and max av. temp 8°c, so i d say the north is cold the south it s warmer(it could be much much warmer).

about 12 --- 15 °c middle temperature, however it's dependes where you want to go, if go to the north part of Italiy likes Alps or Dolomiti , may be also 6 °c if you go in Sicily should be 17°c ...thoose are medium temperature that can be change from yer to year ..!!!

Not sure about Feb, but in Jan in the northern Alps I was there for 2 weeks and it was -15 to 8 degrees Celsius
