Read carefully,
purchase yourself a simple elementary grammer book.
Italian has very different grammer rules. It looks hard. But once you
have the overall picture, like I did in the beginning, you can study a part at a time. So... get the overall basic situation, and then get childrens stories, read a small one a day, studying each work, verb etc.
If you really desire to learn the lauguage, you will love this way of learning,
I know I loved it and now I live in Italy!

Try Rosetta Stone you can at least understand most italian in 2-3 months. If you do it for a year you can speak it. The only downside is that it is $500 |
